About the Job

Mary Queen of Scotts spends much of her childhood in France, betrothed to the Dauphin of France. When he passes, she returns to Scotland, where she is an outsider. After she is remarried, her new husband is killed and she is suspected of murder. She loses custody of her son and fails at regaining the throne. She flees to England and begs for her cousin, Queen Elizabeth I of England, to protect her. Elizabeth sees Mary as a threat and places her on house arrest. Years later, Mary is found guilty of plotting to assassinate Elizabeth. She is eventually beheaded. We explore new evidence in the conspiring between Mary and her allies.
