About the Job

Do you regularly eat items that aren’t meant to be consumed? Do you find yourself craving or chewing on things like paper, chalk, soap, rubber, hair, fabric, plastic, or other non-food materials? Do you ever eat things like sponge, cardboard, candle wax, ice, metal, or even parts of everyday objects? Have these urges become part of your daily routine—or something you feel like you need in order to feel calm or satisfied? A major documentary series for a well-known network is seeking individuals who experience the urge to eat non-food items (commonly known as Pica) to share their real-life stories. We are looking for honest, open individuals who are willing to talk about their experiences—how it started, what they consume, and how it impacts their life, health, or relationships. Whether this is something you’ve struggled with privately or something others already know about, your story matters. This is a respectful, non-judgmental project focused on understanding—not shaming—uncommon behaviors. TO APPLY: Visit: www.unusualcasting.com Please include: • Name & age • Phone number & email • Social media • A brief description of what you consume and your experience All inquiries are completely confidential. Our team is experienced in handling sensitive topics with care and respect. Please note: This is not an acting role. We are seeking real people willing to share their authentic stories.
